Charles Fravola

Founder & Head Coach

Charles realized fitness was more than a hobby in his late teens. While studying psychology in college, he found himself spending more time in the gym, drawn to a trainer who not only understood exercise, but genuinely cared about people.

That experience changed his trajectory.

He quickly recognized that fitness isn’t just physical — it’s deeply mental. If the mind isn’t in the right place, the body won’t perform well. And when the body starts moving better, the mind often follows.

After 15 years as an independent trainer working inside other facilities, Charles opened Fravola Fitness to create something different — a space built on culture, accountability, and real human connection.

Working under other gym owners meant working on their schedule, in environments he couldn’t fully shape, around personalities that didn’t always align with the experience he wanted his clients to have. Charles knew that to build something meaningful, he needed full control of the atmosphere.

Amanda Fravola

Registered Dietitian

Amanda became a Registered Dietitian because she wanted to understand nutrition at the highest level — not just surface-level diet trends, but the true physiological and medical impact food has on the body.

She believes nutrition is one of the strongest drivers of long-term health, energy, and longevity.

What separates Amanda from generic “online nutrition coaches” is both her credentials and her practicality. As a CDS (Certified Diabetes Specialist), her expertise extends into clinical care, allowing her to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to safely support clients managing complex health conditions.

She is credentialed at the highest level in her profession — and she practices what she teaches. Through both pregnancies, she remained active and mindful about her health. At home, she applies her knowledge daily, raising two active children who love nutritious food and movement.

Her approach isn’t rigid dieting.

It’s sustainable awareness.

Many clients say, “I eat healthy,” but don’t understand why results aren’t happening. Often, the issue isn’t just food quality — it’s portions, consistency, snacking habits, timing, and overall awareness.

As Amanda believes:

She helps clients develop clarity around their habits so they can make sustainable adjustments that actually fit their lifestyle — not restrictive plans that fall apart in two weeks.

A small semi-private setting (no more than four people at a time)

While large gyms offer classes and energy, Charles wanted the attention of personal training combined with the camaraderie of a small group.

That’s why Fravola Fitness extends beyond the gym floor — with local hikes, beach volleyball meetups, and social gatherings that help members build friendships outside the facility.

Most clients aren’t “gym people.” They’re busy adults who know they should prioritize strength and health but don’t want fitness to take over their lives.

Charles’ philosophy is simple:

Too often, trainers push their own vision of someone’s potential instead of listening to what that person truly wants. At Fravola Fitness, communication comes first. Progression is intentional. Trust is built.

At Fravola Fitness, that doesn’t happen. Amanda leads nutrition. Charles leads training. But they communicate constantly to ensure every client’s plan is cohesive and clear. There are no mixed messages. No conflicting advice. No “too many chefs in the kitchen.” Just one coordinated strategy.

More Than a Gym

Fravola Fitness stands for living a happy, healthy life — not just completing workouts. Strength training is important. But so is walking more, hiking, swimming, playing volleyball, and simply moving outdoors. We live in a world built on convenience. Physical effort has slowly disappeared from everyday life, and long-term health has suffered as a result. Our mission is to bring that awareness back — in a way that fits into real schedules and real families. As parents themselves, Charles and Amanda believe in leading by example. Their children see two parents who move consistently, prioritize health, manage stress, and practice what they teach. Because values are demonstrated — not demanded. Fravola Fitness isn’t just about building stronger bodies. It’s about building stronger lives.
